Your son is allergic to soy, he can't have white chocolate. I'm also allergic to soy, I'm on this page looking for chocolate that's not made with lecithin, a soy product. White chocolate is. I've checked all the brands of chocolate available in Chicago and none are without lecithin. Some other soy products to watch for: shortening/vegetable shortening vegetable oil vegetable protein (all are really soy) salad oil frying oil (again, really soybean oil) margarine (all kinds have lecithin, many have soybean oil also) tofu bean sprouts soy sauce teriyaki sauce The best thing you can do is get a bread machine. There are very few breads that are not made with soybean oil. Use butter or corn oil in the recipes.
